For each project, our process begins with an free consultation with one of our experts. During this meeting, we’ll take the time to get to know your personal style a bit better, and to go over the design options that you have for your window. Our designers really take the time to listen to all of your concerns, and answer any questions you may have about your windows.
Speaking of the design process, we pride ourselves in the ability to really design pieces for all personal tastes. Since everything we build is custom, the options are truly endless. Whether you prefer modern styles or something more traditional, our designers will be able to present you with several choices for your space.
Once you’ve made a final decision on your design, we’ll create a computerized drawing of your window. This will give you a solid view of the design for your space. Once approved, we’ll pass it along to one of our expert builders to begin actually creating your new window. All of our builders are experienced in making authentic leaded glass windows that not only look stunning, but that will also last.
There are several methods for installation once your window has been built. Our most typical choice is to simply bond the new stained glass window to the inside of an existing window. However, often there are circumstances where this is not ideal, so we can also provide replacement panels of single or double paned glass, or even seal the leaded glass between two panes. The latter method protects the leaded piece from moisture on both ends, which makes it a great idea in bathrooms where there is often a lot of steam.
